“I Saw The Devil” or “I Saw An Old Creepy Korean Dude” -My fuckin review

I finally got to watch “I Saw the Devil” last night and I have been wanting to see that shit for a while. First off this movie is a Korean film and the DVD has English subtitles and is also dubbed in English. I would suggest NOT watching this film dubbed in English, it makes the actors sound like fuckin ding dongs. WATCH THIS MOVIE with the English subtitles on, but listen to the Korean dialogue. English dubs always suck. I mean fuck, branch out bitch and listen to another language for a minute you American assholes. OK so the story starts off with this Korean chick in her car that is broken down with a flat tire in the snow. There an old creepy dude (Min-sik Choi from the movie “Oldboy“) walks up to help her change her tire and she is like fuck you, while she is on the phone with her boyfriend Storm Shadow (Byung-hun Lee). She then gets ganked, tortured, and killed by the old creepy dude, and Storm Shadow is pissed and sad when they find her head in a river. The old creepy dude does this kind of fucked up shit all the time, I guess he is a serial killer for hot Korean chicks. Next Storm Shadow goes rogue and goes after the 4 suspects that the police think could have done this shit. Now Storm Shadow is chasing and killing people he thinks killed his boo boo monkey. He finally catches up to old creepy dude and realizes he is the bitch that killed his boo boo kitty. Now here comes the cool part, Storm Shadow beats the shit out of him until he is knocked out and puts a tracking device with audio capability in him and then leaves him alive. The old creepy dude wakes up and is confused, but goes on his way, while Storm Shadow is following him and listening in the his car near by. Then when the old creepy dude tries to kill the next person Storm Shadow jumps out of the fuckin bushes and beats the shit out of him again, and even cuts his ankle one time. Storm Shadow doesn’t want to kill the old creepy dude, he want him to suffer. In a way, Storm Shadow becomes the monster of the movie, chasing and torturing the old creepy dude. Which I thought was cool, ya know, a monster made a monster. There are also some hot violent scenes in this film, but it is a little slow and long-winded. I like how Byung-hun Lee‘s character chased after the old creepy dude and fucked his life up. In American films the good guys would have just come in a shot the serial killer and moved on, but in Korea it is about 2 hours of torture. I liked the movie but I didn’t love it, and I would have a hard time seating through it again. It is a one time watch, but worth the one time. So if you like old creepy Korean dudes, the guy who played Storm Shadow in “G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra“, sexy Korean girls, blood, guts, gore, and a “mouse and cat” story (yes, it is backwards on purpose bitch) then this movie is for you. Check this film out at least once bitch.
