“Warm Bodies” or “Do Zombie Dicks Get Hard?” -my fuckin review

Here is my review for “Warm Bodies“. Okay I was not sure what to think about this movie before I saw it. A zombie love story? Is this some “Twilight” bullshit? What is happening? Do zombie dicks even get hard? Are those dicks falling off and rotted? Okay so I was surprised, not about the dicks, but by the movie. It starts of with a zombie named R (Nicholas Hoult) who can think, but can’t really talk. He can grunt though. He has a best zombie friend named M (Rob Corddry), and they just walk around together moaning. Eventually he meets this hot living girl and it sparks something in him, not a boner though. He then starts to remember what it was like to be alive and have emotions. R saves the hot living girl and keep her in an airplane where he lives and they listen to records together. She is scared as fuck at first but slowly realizes he is not going to eat that ass. He falls for her and they start to understand that certain zombie are beginning to remember how to talk and feel. They all get into trouble when these bad ass zombies show up who are too far gone to come back to emotion called “Bonies”, they want to eat the emo zombies and the humans. Okay so I was really surprised that I liked this movie, it was fun and funny. It was an interesting take on zombies and how humans relate to each other these days. How everyone seems so distant until given a chance to be understood. Yeah, yeah another zombie movie with social commentary, but a good one. At times you forget R is a zombie, he just feels like a guy who doesn’t fit in and is trying to date and find love. Rob Corddry, who is known for comedy, does a really great job conveying emotion and by the end is a very likable character. Also this was an apocalyptic film with a hopeful ending, which is very different from the depressing apocalyptic films that have been coming out over the last few years. Needless to say they didn’t try to make a shitty “Twilight” movie out of it, they did try to make a fun movie with a point. I say see this shit. So if you love zombies, Nicholas Hoult, odd love stories, the apocalypse, and hoodies then this movie is for you. The feel good zombie movie of the year!
