“La La Land” or “The Magic And Sadness Of Hollywood” my fuckin review

Here is my review for “La La Land“. This film pops off with the truth…. the misery of a traffic jam, but then that turns into the magic of a dance number in that traffic jam, but then back to horns honking and Ryan Gosling flicking off Emma Stone. This sets the tone for the whole film. Magic and truth are both intertwined. It’s about two people trying to make their dreams come true in Hollywood and they bump into each other along the way and end up falling in love. They sing and dance and live. Then honesty and reality step in and maybe even 2016 steps in. Maybe in an old Hollywood movie they would have danced off into the sunset, but this is 2016. Magic and reality are holding hands in this bitch. So it’s not all smiles. Which is great though. Which makes this movie real. Which makes this movie interesting and good. It’s not hokey and cheesy like I thought it might be. In the end it feels real and honest. You can help people find their dreams in life and love them for life. Even if you are not next to them always. Maybe there is magic in truth and reality. Ryan and Emma are great too, and you do believe in their dancing and singing and even sadness. I think for the viewer at the end of the movie we all wish for this and that to happen for them, but we get reality and we understand why. So if you love musicals, dancing, singing, real love stories, jazz and Ryan and Emma then go see this movie. It’s one of the better ones this year and held my interest the whole time. You feel good about shit in the world watching it.
